An insightful and stunning look at an industry now under siege from Silicon Valley. The markets of today are a very different beast to that of simply 10 years ago. If you don't keep up with the pace, you will find very quickly that you go the way of the Dodo. Irene Aldridge and Steven Krawciw are experts in the realm of FinTech and have a story-tellers gift of translating cutting edge industry practices to a broad audience. It was a fascinating read......watch out for the rise of the Millennials. They are progressively starting to dominate the financial markets. Move over Wall Street.....it's time for Google, Apple, Intuit and yours truly (Amazon) to have their say.

An excellent and very timely book covering the latest changes in the marketplace induced by universal electronification. We all know that many financial services professionals (even lawyers! per yesterday's JP Morgan announcement) are being displaced by robots in one form or another. What few people understand is how to harness the power of automation and where it is all ultimately going (hint: real-time processing of everything). This book does a great job at showcasing how robots can be put to work for investors and other financial services practitioners, and generate real (not virtual) dollars in the process. A must read.
